Development Programs | Plant Science Summer Camp

Objective

The Plant Science Summer Camp (PSSC) is a 2-week program consistent of workshops in the laboratories of the Center for Desert Agriculture that aims to expose students to the multidisciplinary aspects of Plant Biology and to give an overview on the research activities of the Plant Science Program at KAUST. The workshop covers different aspects of basic and applied plant science and the strategies employed towards improving the performance of classical crops in harsh environment and domesticating new ones

Target Audience
  • Saudi undergraduate and graduate students, recent graduates from in-kingdom and out-of-kingdom institutions
  • Individuals interested in pursuing studies or career in the areas pertaining plant science and desert agriculture
