KAUST Mawhiba

Objective

KAUST has been instrumental in preparing Saudi Arabia’s best students in the Olympiad Track, partnering with Mawhiba and KAUST faculty since 2010. Each training camp develops around 200 young Saudi school students from grades 7-12 in Biology, Chemistry, Informatics, Mathematics, and Physics for International Science competitions. These students put Saudi Arabia on the world stage for their superb performance in the International Science Olympiad Competitions

Benefits
  • Students undergo a holistic developmental program to help them succeed at international Olympiad competitions and prepare them for the next step of their academic journey.
  • Students are given the opportunity to interact and get inspired from the KAUST faculty about their journeys, struggles, and achievements
  • Holistic experience with academic development, enrichment, and extracurricular activities.
  • Many of these students join our other Saudi young talent development programs and eventually matriculate to KAUST for their graduate studies.
