To unlock the value of the Kingdom's data through the funding of applied AI research at KAUST and the development of solutions to problems faced by SDAIA and its in-kingdom partners in healthcare, environment, water, food, and energy in support of Vision 2030. 

Mission

To enhance AI research, development, and innovation by developing applied data science and AI solutions in healthcare, environment, water, food, and energy that solve problems of interest to SDAIA and its in-kingdom partners;

To accelerate the adoption of AI in the Kingdom by developing a practical training program in data science and AI tools and methods and delivering that program to as wide an audience as possible.
